Nestled in the charming village of Göstling a der Ybbs, Hotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen offers a delightful retreat for those seeking both comfort and easy access to nature's wonders. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the excellent housekeeping services, which ensured our room was consistently tidy and welcoming, making it a perfect space to unwind after a day of skiing. The breakfast spread was a true highlight, boasting an impressive variety, including fresh fruit and local delicacies, all paired beautifully with rich coffee that set the tone for our adventures. One particularly memorable moment was taking advantage of the free ski bus that conveniently stops just a few steps from the hotel, allowing us to easily explore the nearby Hochkar ski region. After exhilarating days on the slopes, we delighted in hearty meals at the hotel's own restaurant, where the staff's warmth and attentiveness enhanced our dining experience considerably. The proximity to the relaxing Ybbstaler Solebad thermal bath, just a short stroll away, was the cherry on top of an already delightful stay. This family-run haven has firmly secured a spot in my heart, and I would happily return for another city break with friends or family.
